## The name

**Ensemble** in a sentence, like any name. The wordmark in the logo is lower case: use the logo files rather than typing it. Not "ENSEMBLE", not "Ensemble AI".

## In a sentence

Ensemble is a Mac app that gives every Claude Code and Codex thread a cloud VM of its own, set up and running, on Ensemble VMs or a Linux server of your own.

## In a paragraph

Ensemble takes everything around the work off your hands, so you only say what you want and review what comes back. Every thread, one task for one agent, gets a whole Linux machine of its own, with its own Docker, database and dev server, so ten threads never fight over ports or files. The agent installs what the project needs and writes it into the project's setup script, so the next thread starts ready, and it starts the dev server itself. The machines are Ensemble VMs, ours, started in seconds and stopped when idle, with no servers to keep; or Firecracker microVMs on a Linux server of your own. Sign in with your work and your personal Claude account, and when one hits its limit, new chats go to the other. Agents get placeholders for your tokens; the host fills in the real ones on the way out. The Mac app shows every thread, its changes, its checks and its pull request, and merges it when it's ready; threads keep going while the Mac sleeps, and an iPhone app, on its way, reaches them.
